Having started his career as a USC School of Psychology alum in sales and product development as the first importer of Dr Martens in the US, Barry McGeough moved to the UK to work for Shelly’s Shoes, sourcing and manufacturing fashion footwear in former eastern bloc military boot factories for the global fashion industry.


Upon returning to the US, he joined Deckers Outdoor corporation building technical athlete driven outdoor footwear for the Teva, Simple and UGG brands, and was soon asked to join VF Corporation at The North Face as Vice President of Hardgoods successfully running multiple divisions, working with the worlds most elite outdoor athletes, building award winning technical products in their Footwear and Equipment divisions while running their Materials Science and Advanced Concepts groups.


Evolving from Outdoor to Competitive as the Vice President of Hardgoods  at Speedo, a division of PVH, one of the worlds largest importers of apparel, McGeough began working with aquatic athletes to help train Fitness enthusiasts, Triathletes and Olympians by advancing technology in the hydrodynamic space using physics, engineered innovation and biomimicry to create cutting edge technical swimming gear and fitness tracking wearables.


Most recently as founder and Group Vice President of the Innovation Next division at PVH he built process and SOP engagement models to drive both internal and open innovation solutions for new functional fiber, circularity, apparels’ new relationship with Tech and the IoT and Extended Reality experiences to meet the demands of the new data driven consumer centricity with the tangible goal of maintaining and growing new competitive edges for all PVH brands globally that include Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Izod, and Speedo.
