Ed joined the John Lewis Partnership as Business Development Manager in 2004, having previously worked across a variety of commercial roles at Kingfisher and Tesco.

Having held various senior positions across the John Lewis brand in both our Electricals and Fashion divisions, Ed then was appointed Buying Director for Electricals and Home Technology in 2011 and later Buying Director for Fashion & Beauty in 2014. Ed joined the John Lewis Board as Trading Director in 2017 before being appointed into the newly created Group role of Director, Partnership Strategy, in 2018. As part of this remit, Ed also has responsibility for JLP Ventures (our digital new proposition accelerator and incubation wing) as well as the Data and Analytics function.
