Glen is CTO Retail & Hospitality for Fujitsu in EMEIA.

Glen is responsible for Fujitsu’s digital retail propositions in EMEIA, which includes assessing industry trends and opportunities, exploring emerging technologies, driving direction and thought leadership internally and externally, and bringing the best industry focused solutions to current and potential customers.

He develops compelling and relevant retail digital direction and strategy to expand in EMEIA market, working closely with strategic and key customers, and is responsible for future innovation and growth. He works with Fujitsu’s European and global research teams to introduce Fujitsu’s technologies and innovations to customers, and he engages with Fujitsu’s development teams to ensure portfolio development is aligned with business outcome driven solution designs and architectures. He continuously monitors emerging technologies and the start-up ecosystem for potential technology partnerships.

Glen has 35 years of experience in the ICT industry in international and senior roles from systems engineering to marketing, and from corporate strategy to sales. He has a broad understanding of emerging technologies working closely with clients implementing co-creation and digital transformation initiatives in business operations.

Glen was granted the title of Fujitsu Fellow in 2015 and is the Nordic Chapter Head of Fujitsu Distinguished Engineers. He is a frequent conference speaker, drives innovation programs and moderates co-innovation workshops with key customers and partners.

Being passionate about innovation and foresight methods and processes, he participates actively in the work of national industry and innovation system bodies, and from 2013 to 2017 served as Chairman, Innovation Working Group in the Federation of Finnish Technology Industries.

Glen lives in Espoo, Finland with his wife and two children. His interests beyond professional life are judo and history of navigation and explorers who chartered the world’s coastlines.
