The Tech. Sprint brings together leading visionaries in retail tech to generate new and innovative ideas. Taking place at Tech. on 2 and 3 October, the teams duke it out over a 24 hour period to come up with the best tech solutions to a challenge set by the Tech. team. The teams pitch their solutions to our expert judging panel. 

After some meaty advisory board discussions, we have landed on the following theme for the 2019 Tech. Sprint- and we’re all very excited to see what the teams come up with!

How can retailers create convenience for their customers?

Customers are the lifeblood of commerce businesses and in a world where customers’ expectations are constantly on the rise, retailers need to ensure they’re not just meeting these but exceeding them. Customers are now conditioned to heightened levels of convenience, so retailers must now adopt a channel-agnostic approach to ensure the customer experience remains consistently convenient across all platforms, be that online, via mobile or in-store. The Tech. Sprint teams will battle it out to find new and innovative solutions to anything from helping retailers eliminate as many pain points as possible, show them new ways to give consumers as much help, access and control as possible, or help them reach their customers not just to sell but to connect and build relationships and offer hyper-personalised experiences.  This hack will shine a light on how technology can be harnessed to provide a truly seamless customer experience.
